Haiti
Born in Derac in 1962, Miss Kikine (Egyptienne Jean) studied to become an auxiliary nurse and health educator at the Bethesda School in Fort Liberté, Haiti. She has collaborated on and assisted with many health education and awareness programs including a disaster risk assessment study with PLAN, a tuberculosis vaccination campaign (Traitement de Tuberculose par Croisade Anti-Tuberculose), and an epidemiological survey in partnership with the Haitian Ministry of Health and the Pan American Health and World Health Organizations. Miss Kikine has been the Auxiliary Medical Aid at the Centre Médico-Sanitaire in Derac since 1982 and, in 1995, was recognized as the Dispensaire de Dérac by the Ministry of Health—a position she continues to hold in tandem with her role as head of the OVP-WDI Women's Center in Derac.

Born in Saint Michel de l’Attalaye on October 23, 1971, Odule Augustin has a license diploma in Agriculture Sciences from the Christian University of Northern Haiti. Agronome Odule is a funding member of Village Planete, a Haitian NGO. He has been working for this organization since 2002 and has helped this organization successfully completed different projects among them: Mangrove Restoration Project with CHF International and DEED (two funding USAID organizations) in different places “Bas Limbé and Petite Anse”; Mangrove Restoration Project with the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI), at Derac, commune of Fort Liberté. Odule played the role of Facilitator Consultant for the Development Plan of Ferrier. Also Agronome Odule has been assigned the role of Public Relations Officer from 2008 to 2010 and now has become the Program Consultant/Manager for Village Planète.

Ghana
Amaligo Nyaaba James Oswald is a forester by profession. He worked with the Ghana Forestry Commission from 1986 to 2000 in the northern savannah regions of Ghana. He is an authority in savannah species. James has been integral in the development of the Just Shea Program from its inception in 2009 and is currently working on a strategy to be implemented by OVP-WDI for maintaining biodiversity and community management of naturally regenerated clusters of shea trees (Vetillaria Paradoxa).

A lifetime resident of Tamale, Ghana and the daughter of generations of shea processors, Fatahiya represents the shea butter processing collectives we work with and is in charge of organizing meetings between and among processing and harvesting collectives, who are the source of Just Shea. She also brings her experience working at the Bank of Ghana to bear on the rural women shea harvesters, and is assisting with the development and implementation of streamlined supply chains.

Danielle is the Founder and Executive Director of One Village Planet-Women's Development Initiative, and the Director of Women's Initiatives our sister NGO's One Village Planet (US) and Village Planete (Haiti). She was formerly the Director of Operations at The OpEd Project--an initiative to expand the quality and diversity of our national conversation--whose advisory board she continues to serve on. Danielle received her Masters degree from Hunter College, in New York City, where she also taught creative writing and composition and rhetoric. Her work has been published in various outlets, including Reuters. A member of the Clinton Global Initiative, she is a semi-finalist for the 2011 Echoing Green Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurs and the 2011 Sustainable Brands Innovation Open, and received the 2010 Sustainable Development Award from Sister Cities International for the HER Cooperative Farming project.

Wickham has helped bring best business practices to non-profit organizations such as The Hartford Foundation, LaMama Theater, The City of New York, The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, ZINC Sports, and the City of Los Angeles, among others. As a journalist she has written for The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler Magazine, MS and many others. Her work focuses on cultural exchange, finance and personal essays. Ms Boyle sits on the boards of a number of non-profit boards, including Breast Cancer Warriors, Bundle, and the Church Street School of Music and Art. She has an MBA from Yale and a BA in anthropology, African Studies from NYU. She is the Ghana Special Projects Director and heads up our Just Shea Social Business Development.

Board of Directors
The son of cocoa farmers, Gordon was born at Dodo Bethel, those days, a cocoa growing area in the Jasikan District of the Volta Region. After his primary education, he was moved to Ve Deme in the Hohoe District to continue his education. From such a humble background, he gained admission to Bishop Herman Secondary School and later the prestigious Achimota School in Accra. As founder and CEO of CTB World Travel, Gordon has a long experience in the tourism industry and is currently, one of the most sought after tourism experts in Ghana. Gordon was a founding member of the Tour Operators Union of Ghana (TOUGHA), was the first General Secretary and now the President of the Union. He was also a founding member of the West Africa Tourism Union, (WATU) and Chairman of the Technical Committee that drafted the Constitution. He consults for many companies in Ghana and abroad, in Community-based Eco Tourism Development projects, Corporate Strategy and Organizational Development. Gordon holds a Bachelor' in Geography; Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester, UK.

_Robert Haverback most recently was the Vice President of Brand Management, Advertising and Emarketing for the TD Ameritrade company. Here he helped lead and build the TD Ameritrade franchise into the fastest growing brokerage in the United States based upon assets. During his tenure there he relaunched the merged TD Waterhouse and Ameritrade brands into what is now TD Ameritrade and led the rebuilding of the acquisition marketing efforts including the creation of a new Emarketing team. This team utilizes the latest digital marketing tactics and strategies in an ROI focused means to drive the most efficient new client and asset acquisition. Prior to Joining TD Ameritrade he was an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley he worked in both Firmwide Marketing and the mass affluent brokerage business segment where he led efforts to grow both businesses. He began his career at the Leo Burnett company where he helped build some of the worlds top brands and advisied senior clients. These brands include Kellogg’s, Sony and Nintendo. Robert earned a B.S. in business from Miami University in Ohio. He is a member of the Financial Communitcation Society of New York.

| _Karen Paterson is the managing partner of Good, Better, Best, LLC, a commercial real estate investment company in San Diego, CA . Prior to that she was a principal and CEO of The Sutherland Agency in San Diego and opened the US office of this UK-based global graphics design company in 1996. As a versatile and seasoned communications expert, Karen has been a senior executive in technology start-ups (Space Breeze, LLC) and retail companies (Jordan Marsh Company and Bradlees Department Stores). An advocate for social change for 40 years, she received a BA in Community Organizing and Economics from Antioch College/West in 1975. Karen is a Board Member of the Moxie Foundation in San Diego.

Alison is a founding Board Member of One Village Planet-Women's Development Initiative and an adjunct professor at Hunter College, where she teaches English and Creative Writing. She received her MFA in Poetry at Hunter in 2007 and her BA from NYU in 2004. Originally from Pleasant Ridge, Michigan, she now lives on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Her expertise in customer purchasing behavior has contributed to the development of the Just Shea brand.

Shilyh Warren, PhD lectures on women and film at North Carolina State University and Duke University. She earned her Master's in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College in 2002. She has also worked in film and radio and been an active volunteer with Welcome Baby, a community organization devoted to supporting new parents. She lives in Durham, NC in a house full of boys. As a founding member of One Village Planet-Women's Development Initiative, her input has been critical on both the development of our Mission and Just Shea programs.

Stefanie comes from a family of activists and has found her passion in health care. After spending two years working in administration for a non-profit health clinic in downtown Orlando, she decided to pursue a career in Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Stefanie is also a certified HIV testing counselor and has been involved with numerous projects/events aimed at HIV prevention through education. Stefanie is a founding member of One Village Planet-Women's Development Initiative.

Sarah Whitlock is an associate in the Financial
Services and Products group of Alston & Bird LLP, where she assists clients
with matters relating to various investment vehicles, including hedge funds,
commodity pools, private equity funds, and mutual funds. Additionally, Sarah
regularly advises clients on compliance with SEC reporting and disclosure
requirements, corporate governance issues and other corporate and securities
matters. Prior to joining Alston & Bird, Sarah was a Legislative Assistant
in the Office of Congressman Vic Snyder, where she focused on housing and
education policy. Sarah received her J.D. in 2008 from the University of
Virginia School of Law, and her B.A. in Anthropology from Harvard University in
2003.

Advisory Board
Born in Limonade/Cap-Haitien, Obéi Dolce is an Ingénieur Agronome. He completed his studies l'Université Chrétienne du Nord d'Haïti, l'école de commerce Julie CRAAN, Port-au-Prince. His vision is to assist in the development his country while ensuring the protection of haitian natural resources—especially mangroves. Throughout his career, he has been of service to many international organizations operating in the north of Haiti, including USAID/Haïti-DEED, AFDI/CAFSA, CHF-Haïtia and World Vision. In 2002 Obéi helped to found our sister organization in Haiti (Village Planète) and has served in various capacities to coordinate our reforestation projects in Acul du Nord, Bas-Limbe et Petit-Anse to great success. On November 4, 2010 Obei was reappointed as Directeur of Village Planète and serves as a primary advisor on all of our reforestation projects.

Dr. Flores holds a B.A. from Yale College, an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and a Ph.D. from the University of London. He was a professor of quantitative analysis at the Yale School of Management before embarking on a twenty-five year consulting career spanning five continents. His work has centered on applying quantitative, statistical, and probabilistic techniques to business process reengineering, supply chain streamlining, pricing theory, and distribution, warehouse, and inventory optimization. Among Dr. Flores' notable clients include: General Electric, Smith, Kline & French, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Dupont, Duracell Batteries, and Procter & Gamble. For AlliedSignal/Honeywell, he helped turn around fourteen acquired aerospace divisions with forecasting, inventory, and distribution problems. In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Flores has been an Executive Committee Member of the Conference Board's Global Business Management Council, and an invited speaker at the British House of Lords and the United Nations. He has received recognition from the British Prime Minister for work with the National Health System and from the European Parliament for his work defining pan-European telecommunications standards, and he was the recipient of a 1987 Presidential Achievement Award by President Reagan, for his work streamlining the supply chain for the armed services.

Daniel Warren is the Founder and Executive Director of our sister NGO's sister NGO's One Village Planet (US) and Village Planete (Haiti). Dan's work in Haiti began in 1998, when he was asked to manage an artificial reef project in the Bay of Acul. Dan has a patented system for reef regeneration that has been implemented in South Florida by various cities and NOVA University. Inspired by the immense needs of the community around the Bay of Acul, Mr. Warren conceived of a mangrove reforestation project that has now taken hold and led to numerous other projects, including the creation of One Village Planet-Women's Development Initiative. In Florida, Mr. Warren is Chair of the Environment Committee for Cap Haitain-Ft. Lauderdale Sister Cities.

| Kosi A. Yankey is the founder and Executive Director of KeyCredit Microfinance, Ghana. Over the last four years, KeyCredit has provided financial services and training programs to Ghanaian micro- and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs. Under her leadership, KeyCredit has rapidly expanded to across the Greater Accra and Eastern Regions, and focused on providing innovative business-specific financial solutions to entrepreneurs who do not have access to the traditional tailored financial services and credit they need to transform their lives. With an eye on sustainability and a better understanding of agriculture, she launched a sister company that focuses on agricultural financing and logistics. Also, KeyCredit launched a partnership with Columbia University's Microlumbia Project to develop an even more scalable lending model. Kosi has spoken on microfinance at the Harvard Business School-African Business Conference in 2009 and has participated in many conferences and programs focusing on microfinance. In 2010, she assisted in organizing one of the successful African Microfinance Conferences held in Accra. Prior to founding KeyCredit Microfinance, Ms. Yankey, a Ghanaian national, was at First Atlantic Merchant Bank (a Ghanaian financial institution), and had worked at Deutsche Bank, NY (Securitized Products Group) where she assisted in setting up their first microfinance fund, UBS (Investment Banking Group), Merrill Lynch (Private Wealth Management) and Citigroup (Sales & Trading). She holds a BA in Government, from Wesleyan University, CT.
